Dr. Leah Goedecke

Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine

Dr. Goedecke’s love for sports started young, boxing competitively for years even as she studied Nutritional Science at the University of Arizona. She went on to earn her doctorate from Midwestern University in 2020 and then specialized in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Michigan State University where she served as chief resident and studied Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT). Afterwards she sub-specialized in Sports Medicine at the University of Toledo, focusing on diagnostic ultrasound and regenerative therapies. She kept her passion for combat sports alive working as a ringside physician in both Detroit and Las Vegas during her training, and now she is excited to bring her medical practice to Las Vegas full-time. 

Sports can be rough on your body’s joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles. Dr. Goedecke is able to treat these injuries with her background in regenerative medicine — a minimally-invasive approach that uses growth factors and stem cells from your own body to trigger healing. Her background in OMT also gives you a hands-on alternative to medications to increase mobility and reduce pain. OMT can also be used to treat hyper-mobility, speed recovery, and reduce injury risk. 

Sports often carry risk for concussions and repetitive head injury as well, and Dr. Goedecke places a special focus on this in her medical practice. Her extensive training in OMT includes specialized techniques for addressing concussions from sports and motor vehicle accidents. Such techniques include craniosacral therapy, as well as cranial manipulation via sutural methods to address post-concussion dysfunctions. 

Dr. Goedecke’s medical training in OMT, sports medicine and regenerative therapies offers you the best of both worlds — striking a balance  between alternative therapies and conventional medicine to empower athletes and enhance performance.

Kumar Davé

Neuromuscular Physiologist

Kumar has been practicing “The Barr Method” in Las Vegas since he move from North Carolina in 2016. During his college years, he was studying to enter medical school and interned with orthopedic surgeons. He witnessed a disturbing pattern of patients still having pain years after surgery. Kumar changed career goals and pursued a Masters in the hopes to find a true natural solution to chronic pain.
In 2014, Kumar severely herniated a disc in his lower back from a weight lifting accident. Desperate for relief without surgery, he met James ‘Silas’ Barr III who restored full function in Kumar’s back in one session and eliminated pain for 4 years. Kumar has since apprenticed under Silas’ system and uses “The Barr Method” to help others experience the same relief.
